Description

A 12th-century Romanesque church in the "Mauriacois" style, with a typically Romanesque chevet and tower listed as a Monument Historique, and remarkable stained glass windows restored in 2022.
The church was once attached to the Benedictine priory of Notre-Dame de Bonnesaigne. The church was later renamed Saint Martin.
Also noteworthy are the 80 modillions sculpted by Mauriac sculptor Jean Ribes, who also fashioned the font, altar and Mauriac-style capitals in the 19th century.
Geraldus Clericus, a medieval sculptor who carved several capitals, including one depicting Saint Michel slaying the dragon, also left his mark on the church.
