Together, let's make little Scandinavia shine!
Our destination deserves more than ever to be recognized for its true worth: an authentic and unique region, full of promise, offering escape and a change of scenery.
Its richness lies in its remarkable tourism potential, both diverse and unique.
A true showcase for this exceptional region, the Sumène Artense Tourist Office plays a key role in the destination’s attractiveness and dynamism.
It fulfills four public service missions:
Welcoming and informing visitors,
Promoting tourism in the region,
Organizing tourist activities,
Coordinating and supporting local tourism stakeholders.
This last mission, at the heart of our work, relies on close collaboration with all tourism providers and partners.
It is in this spirit that we provide you with the Partner Guide below, designed to present the tools, services, and commitments that unite us.
Because the development of the Sumène Artense Destination is built together, every day, thanks to you.

Tourist tax
All accommodation providers are required to collect and remit the tourist tax for all visitors.
When we receive your declaration to the town hall for the opening of your accommodation, we automatically create an account for you on the “Tourist Tax” website, allowing you to declare your collections each month.
Who must pay?
The tourist tax is paid by adult tenants and declared by the accommodation provider via the website or by paper form.
The following are exempt:
Minors,
Holders of a seasonal employment contract in the area,
People receiving emergency accommodation or temporary relocation.
Exempt individuals must also be registered to refine occupancy statistics.
Collection methods
Two scenarios:
Direct rental: the tenant pays you the corresponding tourist tax, which you must then remit to Sumène Artense Communauté.
Rentals via a digital platform (Booking, Airbnb, Abritel, Gîtes de France, Clévacances, etc.): the tenant pays the tourist tax directly to the platform, which then automatically remits it.
Deadlines
The deadline for filing a tax return is the 15th of each month.
Use of the tax
The tourist tax collected by Sumène Artense Communauté is then entirely transferred to the Sumène Artense Tourist Office to promote our destination.
Broadcasting of your event and activities
Do you offer activities and would like them to be featured in our region?
We can promote them:
on our website (under the “Events” tab),
in our weekly events program (published only during school holidays for all three zones),
and in the windows of our various tourist information offices.
To do so, simply fill out the form on the right.
For organizational and printing purposes, please send us your information before Tuesday evening each week. Any event submitted after Wednesday will not be included in the corresponding weekly program.
