The Maison de la Minéralogie is a small private museum, created by a mineralogy enthusiast, dedicated to the variety and diversity of minerals in the Massif Central.
The collection includes around a thousand samples, most of which were discovered by the founder. If you're curious about what lies beneath your feet and want to learn more about the Earth's riches, this is the place for you.

Field outings available: introduction to mineralogy

years), introduction to local geology (duration 2h15
approx., €8 adult, €5 under 15)
Free admission (everyone puts what they want in a box
box at the museum entrance).
