From 01/06 to 30/09/2026 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 1 pm and 7 pm.
Off-season: open by appointment. In season, open Saturdays by appointment. Out of season by appointment: guided tour on Tuesdays (7€ adult, 3€ under 10). Possibility of field trips: introduction to mineralogy: (locations to be defined), on Wednesday or Thursday afternoons (€25 adult, €15 under 15), introduction to local geology (duration approx. 2h15, €8 adult, €5 under 15).
Description
The Maison de la Minéralogie is a small private museum, created by a mineralogy enthusiast, dedicated to the variety and diversity of minerals in the Massif Central.
The collection includes around a thousand samples, most of which were discovered by the founder. If you're curious about what lies beneath your feet and want to learn more about the Earth's riches, this is the place for you.
