Description
Starting in Champs-sur-Tarentaine-Marchal, this route takes you to La Tour d’Auvergne and connects to the “Dôme-Sancy” route.
The “Dôme-Sancy” trail is a long-distance hiking route lasting 2 to 7 days through the volcanic landscapes of the Massif Central.
The trail quickly gains elevation as it passes through Puy du Fraysse (in the town of Lanobre), which offers a magnificent 360° panorama of the surrounding hills. The route then continues toward Cros, renowned for its beautiful views of the Sancy Massif, before reaching La Tour d’Auvergne and its picturesque lake.
