A new space dedicated to action sports and outdoor activities has added to the range of leisure activities on offer in Sumène Artense!

Open to mountain bikers, BMX riders, skateboarders and other urban sports enthusiasts, the new pump track provides a fun playground suitable for different skill levels and promises plenty of thrills. This new facility complements the existing amenities at Bois de Lempre, including the Bike Park and downhill trails.

So, what exactly is a pumptrack?

A pump track is a circuit of bumps and banked turns designed for bikes, scooters, skateboards and more. The Sumène Artense pump track features three circuits, including one for beginners and two for more experienced riders, as well as a concrete mini skate ramp. Designed to accommodate different skill levels, it is free to use all year round.

INAUGURATION PROGRAMME – 17 OCTOBER

• 3:45pm: A convivial get-together and an introduction to pump track riding for the general public, with Auver’Bike.

• 3pm: Mountain bike, BMX and skateboarding demonstrations by Session Libre and Fabrique Aventures.

• 3:15pm: Official inauguration in the presence of local elected representatives and institutional partners.
