Hiking ideas to admire the colours of autumn
An easy family hike: trail no. 16, Val – La Siauve.
A 5.8 km round trip connecting the two beaches of Val and La Siauve. The trail is well maintained throughout and offers a chance to discover the landscape, history and botany of the banks of the Dordogne reservoir.
Starting point: Val Castle.
5.8 km route – 260 m elevation gain – 1½ hours – Blue markings

A more challenging hike: the PR14, Au coin de la Rhue
This route takes you along the steep banks of the Rhue Gorges and through the pastures where shepherds once tended their flocks of sheep.
Starting point: Bridge over the Soulou in Couzans (Antignac).
