Description

Permanent exhibition of butterflies and other insects from around the world.
Located under the old school building in the heart of the village, the exhibition introduces visitors to the world's most prestigious species of insects and butterflies. Over 3,500 specimens are displayed in glass cases, accompanied by documents accessible to all.
In addition to a fantastic variety of butterflies from every continent, you'll be able to admire the magnificent golden beetle from Costa Rica, gleaming buprestes, the giants of the night, as well as mygales and scorpions. The exhibition also gives pride of place to the discovery of local and French fauna.
With its wealth of species and strange beauty of form, its enchanting colors and original evocation of exoticism, the exhibition will touch the sensibilities of everyone and arouse their admiration. The exhibition is complemented by an educational display of 20 panels explaining the importance of biodiversity.
