Artense at the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Park
The Artense region is one of the five regions of the Parc naturel régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, along with the Monts du Cantal, Monts Dore, Cézallier and Chaîne des Puys. This plateau, shaped by glaciers, reveals what the Park's other natural regions were like before volcanic eruptions! The landscape of the Artense is unique and particularly marked by erosion: a land of water, forest and rock!
